Well … Hello There
5September 12, 2014 by Kambili M.A. Chimalu
Hello everyone! Are you looking for a blog to follow? Do you want to challenge your preconceived notions? Buy one and get … wait! what? This is not an infomercial? Well, nobody told me.
Let me start by reiterating that this blog is for my personal growth and contribution to the larger discourse by all Nigerians on what ails our society. I can only shout at my computer screen for so long whenever I read yet another mind boggling news emanating from Nigeria, but if I don’t attempt to lend my voice, no matter how small, to championing the cause of our nation, I will be doing myself and a host of other Nigerians a great disservice.
It is high time young Nigerians took charge of our country and destinies by challenging the status quo. The new generation of Nigerians are extremely intelligent, diligent, and optimistic, and I want to be part of the change I see coming. We are capable of independent thought, critical thinking and analysis, so when we come together as one, we can move mountains.
My aim is to present the very best of what Nigeria has to offer: people, culture, cuisines, etc. The very best of us will always overshadow the very worst of us.
This is an open and welcoming environment where conversations, debates, and differing opinions are welcome. We may enrage one another, but we can’t move forward until we start having some important conversations. We are connected by our shared nationality and we must pledge to work together for a better Nigeria.
With Love … Keep dreaming Nigeria.
Welcome to the blogosphere.
I also believe that there’s a new crop of great Nigerians arising…
